Description
The Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (MDARD) is accepting applications for the FY 2025 Horticulture Fund Grant, a competitive program supporting projects aimed at safeguarding plants and plant products from pests. The grant program was established to fund research, training programs, and outreach materials that help protect the state’s horticulture industry. For the 2025 grant cycle, a total of approximately $60,000 is available, with individual grants capped at $20,000 per proposal.
Key dates for the grant cycle include a proposal submission deadline of November 22, 2024. Award notifications will occur during the week of May 1, 2025, with funded projects beginning on June 1, 2025, and concluding by June 30, 2026.
