Women’s Professional Forum Foundation Grant 2025
This grant provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in Guilford County that empower women and girls through career development, education, and leadership initiatives.
Description
The Women’s Professional Forum Foundation (WPFF) Grant Program supports nonprofit organizations that empower women and girls by fostering career aspirations, advancing education and leadership development, educating the public about women's rights and status, and recognizing women’s achievements. The program excludes funding for health initiatives, mother/baby initiatives, child development programs, parenting support, or self-esteem projects.
To be eligible, applicants must be classified as 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(1) nonprofit organizations and operate within Guilford County. Organizations that have received WPFF grants for three consecutive years are ineligible for further funding. Grants are not awarded to individuals, and funds may not be used for expenses incurred before the grant is awarded.
The grant cycle occurs annually. For the 2025 cycle, applications opened on October 1, 2024, and must be submitted electronically by January 31, 2025. Hard copy submissions are not accepted. Grant requests may not exceed $10,000, and awards typically range between $1,000 and $5,000.
The WPFF prioritizes funding programs that align directly with its mission of empowering women and girls. Organizations are encouraged to clearly demonstrate how their projects connect with these goals in their applications. Applicants will be notified about updates and decisions following the close of the application cycle. For the 2026 cycle, new applications will be accepted starting in October 2025.
