The grant program is divided into three types of funding opportunities: Innovation Planning, Onsite Project, and Regional Impact grants. Innovation Planning grants range from $7,500 to $50,000 and require at least a 30% match in non-State funds. These grants support the development of strategic plans for implementing innovative agricultural practices or technologies. Onsite Project grants, which fund the adoption of innovation at individual farm sites, offer between $5,000 and $200,000 and require a 50% non-State matching fund. Regional Impact grants are intended for projects benefiting multiple stakeholders or geographic areas, with funding amounts ranging from $100,000 to $2 million, also requiring a 50% non-State matching contribution.

To apply, applicants must submit a detailed proposal through the Single Application for Assistance online system by November 15, 2024. Applications should include comprehensive project narratives, budgets, and alignment with the program’s goals, along with supporting documentation such as letters of endorsement.
