2025 Chrysalis Community Partner Grant

Description
The Chrysalis Foundation’s 2025 Community Partner Grant program is designed to support organizations that align with its mission to improve the safety, security, education, and economic empowerment of girls and women in Iowa’s Polk, Warren, and Dallas counties. The grants provide annual unrestricted funding to support nonprofit organizations in achieving measurable outcomes related to these strategic priorities. The application for the grant opens on October 1, 2024, and closes at noon on November 8, 2024.
Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3), 509(a)(1), or 509(a)(2) entities, or use a fiscal agent with 501(c)(3) status, and their missions should align with the foundation's focus areas. Additionally, they must submit an updated Organization Profile, including supporting documents such as an annual budget and a list of board members, and participate in a mandatory Grant Information Meeting or have a phone consultation before applying.
Grant recipients are expected to engage in several Chrysalis-hosted activities throughout the year, including a planning meeting in January 2025, a Grantee Roundtable in May, three Women’s Alliance meetings, and a final reporting session in February 2026. Funding cannot be used for certain expenses such as debt reduction, scholarships, or programs that promote specific religious beliefs.
Award notifications will be made the week of December 16, 2024, and the grant presentation will occur in early January 2025. The program emphasizes collaborative learning and sharing of best practices among grantees to drive impactful community outcomes.
