Keller Family Foundation Grants Stage 2
This grant provides funding to non-profit organizations and government agencies focused on education, civic affairs, and social services in the Greater New Orleans area, with some consideration for organizations outside the region if a trustee is familiar with them.
Description
The Keller Family Foundation offers grants to non-profit organizations and government agencies that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation focuses on supporting organizations and projects within the Greater New Orleans region, primarily in the fields of education, civic affairs, and social services. While priority is given to local and regional organizations, consideration can be extended to those outside the New Orleans area if a trustee has significant familiarity with the organization. The Foundation employs a two-stage application process (February 10th and August 15th), with proposals reviewed semi-annually during the trustees' meetings in April and November.
The foundation primarily funds New Orleans area organizations. Applications from local and regional organizations outside of the New Orleans area will be considered only if at least one of the Foundation's trustees has extensive knowledge of the organization.
