Description

The mission of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Natural Areas and Preserves (DNAP) is to preserve Ohio’s unique natural heritage by protecting and restoring our finest land and water resources for future generations. The Allison Cusick and Daniel Rice Research Grant Program funds research that will increase our understanding of Ohio’s aquatic and terrestrial biological resources and aid in their conservation. Eligible applicants include colleges, universities, school districts, county, city, township, and regional park districts, non-profit conservation organizations, and botanical or natural history societies. Proposals should be received by the Division by 11:59pm EST, February 1, of each grant year, and applications will be accepted starting December 15. The maximum grant amount is $5000.
