2025 Professional Development Grant Program
This grant provides financial support to North Dakota nonprofit art organizations, educational institutions, individual artists, and arts educators for engaging in professional development and arts-related learning activities.
Description
The North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) offers the Professional Development grant for fiscal year 2025 (FY25). This grant provides reimbursement funding of up to $1,000 to support North Dakota nonprofit art organizations, educational institutions, individual artists, and arts educators in engaging in arts-related learning activities. The program is designed to enhance the professional growth of artists and arts organizations by encouraging participation in educational opportunities.
The grant can be used for arts-related learning activities that take place either within the United States or internationally. The maximum award request is capped at $1,000 or 80% of the total project cash expenses, whichever amount is less. A 20% match is required from the applicant, making this a partially funded program that encourages applicants to contribute toward their development activities.
The grant has specific application deadlines. Round 6, for example, has an application deadline of Tuesday, February 18, 2025, for projects taking place from May 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025. Panel meetings to review applications will take place on March 11, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
