2024 Fall SIA Foundation Grants
Description
The SIA Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Indiana residents by awarding cash grants to 501(c)3 organizations, educational institutions, and government entities within the state. These grants specifically support capital projects in arts and culture, education, and health and welfare sectors. Grant applications are accepted during two cycles: Spring (January 1 - March 31) with grants disbursed by June 15, and Fall (July 1 - September 30) with grants disbursed by December 15. Grant requests must range from $1,000 to $15,000 and be aimed at capital investments. Eligibility criteria include tax-exempt status within Indiana, financial soundness, and a clear demonstration of need and potential for long-term community impact. Restrictions apply, including prohibitions on operating costs, individual applicants, for-profit entities, and projects outside Indiana or those promoting religious or political activities.
Grant renewed every year. Annual opening/closing deadline: July 1st to September 30th.
