Description

Franklin's Friends offers grants to support animal welfare organizations within specific counties in Florida. The grants focus on three main areas: Shelter/Rescue, Spay/Neuter, and Community Education. Eligible applicants include local 501(c)(3) organizations and government agencies located in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Volusia, Lake, Polk, Brevard, or Hillsborough Counties. Each eligible organization is allowed to apply once per calendar year. The grants cannot be used for the purchase of property or buildings, or by organizations not adhering to the American Heartworm Society guidelines for treating heartworm positive dogs, unless applying for funds to enable such adherence. Grant recipients are required to provide receipts showing how the funds were utilized. Franklin's Friends does not impose an application deadline, as funding is available year-round.
