The program focuses on five major goals, including increasing leadership capacity, enhancing sustainability, and improving teacher effectiveness. Eligible applicants include districts with schools identified for improvement under ESSA and those with specific state identification plans. The program offers funding for a maximum of $20,000 in the first year and up to $80,000 in subsequent years, with a total support duration of 2.5 years.
