Description
The WomanKind Creative Grant by Alfa Charlie is a specialized opportunity aimed at nonprofit organizations and startups working in the field of women’s health. This grant offers a three-month design partnership with Alfa Charlie, a women-owned creative agency recognized for its advocacy of women-centered and environmental causes through impactful and strategic design. Valued at $30,000, the grant is designed to empower recipients by elevating their brand visibility and helping them advocate more effectively through a comprehensive visual identity overhaul.
The primary purpose of the WomanKind Creative Grant is to support and enhance the branding and communication efforts of women’s health innovators. By providing strategic design tools and consultation, the grant aims to amplify the voices and messages of its recipients, ensuring that their efforts resonate clearly and strongly with their target audiences. The goal is to equip women-led health initiatives with the visual tools needed to advocate more effectively, stand out in the marketplace, and drive meaningful social change.
This funding opportunity includes a suite of services over a three-month engagement. The process begins with a Brand Navigation Workshop, a six-hour strategic session focused on defining core values, audience personas, competitor analysis, and brand personality. Following this, Alfa Charlie will deliver a full Visual Brand Identity, including moodboards, logo design, color palettes, fonts, and other key visual elements documented in a Brand Compass Book. In the subsequent month, the agency will develop additional collateral and design assets to help ensure brand cohesion across platforms. Finally, the grant includes three quarterly check-ins post-collaboration to offer ongoing feedback and support.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations and startups with a mission centered on women’s health. These entities should demonstrate a commitment to meaningful change in the field and a clear need for strategic branding support. Alfa Charlie encourages applications from mission-driven initiatives seeking to raise their profile and increase their advocacy impact through visual storytelling and cohesive design. Applications for the 2025 cycle are currently closed.
