Description
The Arts Respond Performance Support grant by the Texas Commission on the Arts funds artist fees for schools, libraries, and nonprofits in Texas, allowing them to hire artists from the Texas Touring Roster for performances or workshops. This non-competitive grant covers a portion of artist fees, up to $8,000 per application, with a minimum request of $75. Each organization can receive a maximum of $12,000 in funding per fiscal year (September through August), and applications require a 1:1 match.
Applications are accepted quarterly with deadlines on August 1, November 1, February 1, and May 1, for projects scheduled within the subsequent three-month period. Required attachments must be submitted by the application deadline, and eligibility is open to all Texas nonprofits, schools, colleges, and government units.
