WCF Impact Grant 2025

Ceiling: $100,000
Private
Woodard & Curran Foundation

This grant provides $100,000 to U.S.-based nonprofits for innovative projects that protect and manage watersheds and groundwater in response to climate change.

Description

The 2025 Impact Grant from the Woodard & Curran Foundation provides a $100,000 grant for a one-year project focused on watershed and groundwater protection and management in response to climate change. Eligible projects may involve innovative approaches to reducing the impact of extreme weather, responsible land and water management, or remediation efforts to restore watersheds and groundwater basins. The foundation is particularly interested in projects where their grant funding will have a substantial environmental impact.

To be eligible, applicants must be U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits with active nonprofit status at the time of application and throughout the grant term. Organizations must not engage in discriminatory practices or have primary religious or political affiliations, though faith-based organizations may apply if the project benefits a general audience rather than a specific religious group.

Applications are due by January 3, 2025, and must be submitted in one session, as the form is not saveable. Selected grantees will need to submit both a six-month interim report and a final report covering narrative progress and financial details. Approval of the interim report by the foundation’s Board of Directors is required for the release of remaining grant funds. For questions, applicants can contact grants@woodardcurranfoundation.org.
