Description

The Economic Development Grant FY 2025-2026, offered by the City of Klamath Falls, is designed to support nonprofit organizations that focus on economic development and business improvement. The funding aligns with the City’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives for fostering economic growth within Klamath Falls. Eligible projects must contribute to business retention, neighborhood vibrancy, small business support, or housing development within city limits.

This grant is available in four key funding categories. The Business Retention, Expansion, and Recruitment category is targeted at attracting, retaining, and growing traded sector businesses in the community. The Downtown and Neighborhood Vibrancy category supports efforts to maintain a thriving downtown, assist property and business owners, and encourage neighborhood sustainability and reinvestment. Small Business Support funding is directed at organizations that assist entrepreneurs, provide gap financing, and foster the growth of small businesses. Lastly, the Housing category aims to increase the housing stock within the City of Klamath Falls.

The maximum award for a single application is $50,000. However, additional funding may be available at the City's discretion for special projects that align with strategic priorities. Selected finalists will be invited to present a 10-minute proposal to the City Council at a Work Session, with the exact date to be determined.
