Description
The Spring Grant Cycle – Large Grants (2025-26), administered by JWF-NJ, provides up to $25,000 in funding for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations supporting projects in New Jersey. Grants are awarded on a one-year basis, covering the period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Organizations may reapply annually, but repeat funding is not guaranteed. Applications must align with JWF-NJ’s mission and meet eligibility criteria outlined on the Grant Guidelines page.
The application process begins with a Letter of Intent (LOI) submitted via the FOUNDANT grantmaking system using access code JWF-FY26. The LOI submission period opens on December 18, 2024, and closes on January 22, 2025. After review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a Full Proposal by March 7, 2025. The deadline for Full Proposal submissions is April 2, 2025. Site visits, either in-person or virtual, will take place between April 23 and May 8, 2025.
Successful applicants will be notified by May 22, 2025, and initial funds will be released on July 1, 2025. Interim reports are required in January 2026, after which the second half of the funds will be distributed. The grant period concludes on June 30, 2026, with final reports due by July 31, 2026.
Applicants must complete all submissions through the FOUNDANT system. A sample LOI application and Full Proposal are available for reference. However, submission of a Full Proposal is by invitation only. For further details, consult the Grant Guidelines page or contact JWF-NJ directly.
