The Albert E. and Myrtle Gunn York Trust, administered by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., supports charitable causes that directly benefit citizens in Victoria, Texas. The Trust funds organizations promoting religious purposes, higher education, fine arts and performing arts, assistance to the elderly, and the intellectual and physical development of young boys and girls.
Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. The Trust places a strong geographic focus on organizations located within the city and county of Victoria, Texas, in line with the donor’s original intent. Grants are not awarded to individuals under any circumstances.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, but must be submitted by May 1 to be considered for funding at the annual grant meeting held in June. Grant decisions are typically communicated to applicants by July. An automatic email confirmation is sent upon submission of the application, and all applicants are notified of the outcome.
Funded projects require submission of a progress report within six months of receiving grant funds. Application materials must be submitted through the Trust’s online application portal.
