Bioprocessing Research Infrastructure Program
The Bioprocessing Research Infrastructure Program is a grant aimed at enhancing Illinois' bioprocessing sector by funding the development of infrastructure, capital equipment, technical staff, and providing affordable access to facilities for businesses and students.
Description
The Bioprocessing Research Infrastructure Program seeks to promote bioprocessing in Illinois by providing assistance with the infrastructure and capital equipment necessary to expand training and research capacity in the state. As the bioprocessing market continues to grow, Illinois is poised to be a leader, but continued investments and expansions in infrastructure will be necessary. This program will further solidify Illinois' leadership with investments in world-class pilot scale infrastructure, technical staff to maintain the facilities, and by providing equitable and affordable access to these facilities to businesses and students.
