Denver Mobility Incentive Program
This funding opportunity provides financial support to various organizations in Denver that are working to reduce fossil fuel transportation and promote cleaner travel options to help combat climate change.
Description
Denver is targeting transportation, its second-largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, through the voter-supported Climate Action Fund. Offering up to $100,000 in funding per project, the Denver Mobility Incentive Program aims to enhance transit options to be cleaner, safer, and healthier in alignment with the city's ambitious objective to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. The program welcomes applications on a rolling basis from a diverse array of eligible groups including human service providers, nonprofit and community-based organizations, business improvement districts, registered neighborhood organizations, transportation management associations, and any organization with a novel approach to reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Eligible projects must focus on diminishing fossil-fuel-based transportation usage and promoting cleaner travel alternatives for the organization, its beneficiaries, or its employees, with all proposed projects needing to be situated within the City and County of Denver.
