This funding opportunity provides financial support to Fort Collins residents for community-building events and projects that promote inclusivity and celebrate neighborhood diversity.
Description
The City of Fort Collins, through its Neighborhood Services department, offers Neighborhood Mini-Grants to support positive neighborhood activities and community improvements. The purpose of these mini-grants is to encourage community resiliency, highlight neighborhood diversity, and promote inclusive events and projects that foster stronger community ties. These grants are a financial assistance tool designed to empower residents to create vibrant and connected neighborhoods.
Grants are awarded to support events and projects happening within Fort Collins neighborhoods, with a focus on inclusivity, diversity, and community-building. Grant awards typically range from $150 to $1,000. Funds awarded must be used for eligible projects and activities within the specified timeframes, with each round of funding targeting particular months for project implementation. For Round 1 of 2025, grant funding is available for events scheduled in April and May.
Applications are processed through the Eproval platform, which provides automated updates on application status, including submission, review, approval, or declination. After award decisions are made, funds are typically disbursed within 1 to 3 weeks. Applicants are advised to plan accordingly, considering this fund transfer window.
