Grant Opportunity: Consolidated Grants

Application Process: Nonprofits must apply through the ZoomGrants portal. There will be an in-person application meeting on Feb. 23, 2024, and a virtual application meeting on Feb. 26, 2024. The grant portal will open on Feb. 26, 2024.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG): This federally funded grant is allocated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to cities with populations greater than 50,000. Funds must be used to benefit eligible McKinney residents and meet at least one National Objective. Eligible activities include public service activities, housing rehabilitation, education, homelessness prevention, youth services, health services, counseling, and affordable housing development.

Community Support Grants (CSG): These grants are available to non-profit community support agencies that provide activities, programs, and services to residents of McKinney. Funding priorities include basic needs (food, clothing), health and medical treatment (including mental health), housing assistance, and transportation.
