Description
The Women in Ag Award, organized jointly by DLG (German Agricultural Society) and Women in Ag magazine, recognizes and honors women making a lasting impact on the agricultural sector. Now in its fourth year, the award offers women from across the globe an opportunity to share their stories, showcase their achievements, and join a strong, supportive network of agricultural professionals and innovators.
The award celebrates the critical and evolving role of women in agriculture, agribusiness, education, technology, and research. It highlights their contributions through sustainable farming, modern farm management, entrepreneurial innovations, educational initiatives, and technological advancements. Winners are granted a platform to promote their success, inspire others, and engage with a global community of experts.
The Women in Ag Award is presented in four distinct categories: Agriculture, Agribusiness, Education, and Technology and Research. Each category honors the top three winners who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in their field. The award ceremony will take place during AGRITECHNICA or EuroTier, two of the world’s leading trade fairs for agriculture and animal farming.
Applications are open to women from all over the world who are involved in agriculture, agribusiness, animal farming, education, journalism, blogging, or research and development. The application deadline is July 31, 2025. Applicants are judged by an international jury composed of recognized professionals from the agricultural sector. Selection criteria include the level of innovation, impact on the agricultural sector, and the ability to inspire others.
