This program provides funding to public school districts and area career and technical schools for necessary improvements to their facilities.
Description
The Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program (the “Program”) was created to provide grants to
public school districts and area career and technical schools for eligible facility improvement projects.
The Program was established under Section 1753.2-E of Subarticle E of Act 34 of 2023 (P.L. 251, No. 34)
(72 P.S. §1753.2-E). The Program is administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development
(“DCED”) under the direction of the Commonwealth Financing Authority (“CFA”).
