Description
The Leland Fikes Foundation provides funding to organizations aligned with its four strategic priorities: Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice; Civic Engagement; Dallas-Area Human Services; and Medical Research (by invitation only). The foundation supports general operations, programs, direct services, advocacy, and capacity building efforts. A strong emphasis is placed on advancing racial equity within funded projects. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations working at the national level, within Texas, or locally in Dallas. The application process for new applicants begins with a Letter of Intent (LOI) accepted all year, while current grantees can proceed directly to the full application. Deadlines for 2024 grant submissions are quarterly, with the first deadline on January 10, 2024, and the last on October 9, 2024.
