Description
The Madison County Community Foundation (MCCF) offers grants to support local charitable organizations serving the Madison County community. Established in 1995, MCCF builds community assets through permanent endowments, makes grants, and leverages leadership. The current grant cycle runs from July 5, 2024, to August 6, 2024, with awards ranging from $500 to $1,500. Grants are drawn from the community grantmaking fund and the Howard J. & Blanche Elam Runnion Endowment. In 2023, MCCF awarded $7,000 through this competitive process.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofits, organizations with a fiscal agent who is a 501(c)(3) public charity, local governments, public schools, fire and rescue departments, and religious entities applying for social outreach and charitable service programs. Applications must be submitted through the North Carolina Community Foundation's online system, and adherence to the guidelines is mandatory.
