Description
The purpose of the Volunteer Rescue-EMS Fund is to assist rescue organizations in North Carolina to purchase equipment and make capital expenditures. Rescue organizations can receive matching grants up to $25,000, or non-matching grants up to $3,000 depending on their cash assets. Eligibility criteria include being recognized by the NC Department of Insurance as a rescue, EMS, or rescue/EMS provider, and meeting the standards of the NC Association of Rescue/EMS and/or the NC Office of Emergency Medical Services. Key dates include application availability on August 1, submission deadline on October 1, and grant recipient announcement on December 15. Invoices and proof of payment are due by April 30.
