The program encourages projects that support food recovery infrastructure and address food insecurity in Oklahoma. Eligible applicants include units of government such as public school districts, universities, municipalities, counties, and tribes. The grants are awarded on a reimbursement basis, and applicants must enter into a formal agreement with DEQ before funds are available.
