Description
The B.W. Bastian Foundation supports organizations that promote equality for all Americans, including the LGBTQ+ community. The Foundation prioritizes funding for general operating support, project support, specific programs, advocacy, and capacity building within the nonprofit sector. Grants range from $100 to $15,000, focusing on entities that demonstrate a clear commitment to equality. Applicants are required to contact the Foundation before submitting a grant request to discuss eligibility and funding possibilities. The Foundation has a specific interest in projects that have a national scope and/or impact, particularly those that support the arts, educational outreach, and programs benefiting the LGBTQ+ community and HIV/AIDS initiatives. Geographic focus is primarily on the Intermountain West region (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana) and nationally in the U.S. (those projects of national scope and/or impact)
