This program provides funding and support to high-growth startups, particularly those with ties to Oklahoma, to help them accelerate their development and connect with industry experts and investors.

Description

The gener8tor Oklahoma City Accelerator 2025 is a startup accelerator program designed to invest in and support high-growth companies. This industry-agnostic program accepts startups from any sector and business model. Eight startups will be selected to participate in the cohort, receiving mentorship, resources, and investment to accelerate their growth. The application deadline is January 26, 2025, with the program running from March 5 to May 30, 2025.

To be eligible, startups must meet one of the following criteria: the founders are based in Oklahoma, at least one department of the company operates in Oklahoma, the company is registered as a foreign agent in Oklahoma, or the startup is willing to relocate to Oklahoma City. For startups outside Oklahoma that do not plan to relocate, eligibility is limited to businesses in the Agricultural Technology, Biotechnology, Life Science, or Energy Diversification sectors.

Each selected startup will receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for 7.5% equity, structured as a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE). This financial support is designed to help companies achieve their next stage of growth while receiving guidance from experienced mentors and industry leaders.

The program will provide participants with tailored support, networking opportunities, and access to gener8tor’s network of investors, advisors, and industry experts. Participants will also engage in workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and pitch opportunities to help refine their business strategies and secure additional funding.

The accelerator concludes with a public pitch event, where startups present their progress and plans to investors and other stakeholders. This event serves as a platform to gain visibility and build relationships that may lead to further funding and growth opportunities.

Interested startups should apply by the January 26 deadline. For questions or more information, contact Managing Director Anita Ly at anita@gener8tor.com. This program offers a unique opportunity for startups to scale quickly and connect with the resources needed to thrive.
