Description
The Fiscal Year 2025 Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant aims to provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly those who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. Eligible applicants include public and private entities such as Local Education Agencies (LEAs), state-authorized charter schools, area vocational centers, community-based organizations (CBOs), faith-based organizations (FBOs), Indian tribes or tribal organizations, and other public and private entities or a consortium of two or more such agencies. Awards range from $50,000 to $600,000, with individual awards not exceeding $150,000 per site. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the ISBE Attachment Manager no later than 4 p.m. CDT on August 16, 2024.
