Description
The DoD FY24 Toxic Exposures Research Program (TERP) Translational Research Award (TRA), managed by USAMRAA, funds projects that advance promising research on military-related toxic exposures into practical clinical applications. The TRA supports efforts to develop health care products, interventions, technologies, and clinical guidelines that address health effects from toxic exposure. This translational award prioritizes reciprocal information transfer between basic science and clinical practice to create impactful solutions.
Applications may employ New Approach Methodologies and must demonstrate integration between laboratory findings and clinical insights. Six awards are expected, with a total funding of $12.8 million. Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations with no restrictions, and no cost-sharing is required. Applications are due by November 12, 2024.
