Description
The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards recognize outstanding Jewish teens aged 13-19 in the United States who are leading projects that embody the Jewish value of tikkun olam—repairing the world. The awards program seeks young leaders who have demonstrated vision, creativity, and sustained commitment in developing and implementing their initiatives. The award offers a $36,000 prize, which recipients can use for educational purposes or to support their projects, along with opportunities to join a network of like-minded changemakers, participate in an awards celebration, and gain media visibility.
Nominations are open until December 20, 2024. Nominators, who cannot be family members of the nominee, should submit a completed nomination form detailing the nominee's leadership role and project impact. Eligible nominees must volunteer without compensation and show a commitment to their project's goals and growth over time.
Following the nomination, selected semifinalists will provide project updates and references, with the review process advancing to finalist rounds in April 2025. Awardees will be notified in May, with an official announcement in June 2025. The winners will also participate in an awards celebration weekend and shabbaton in San Francisco.
