The Shullsburg Fund, established in 2004 by area citizens, serves as a permanent funding source dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in and around Shullsburg. Managed as a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, it annually redistributes a portion of its earnings to finance projects and programs that positively impact community life. The fund focuses on supporting non-profit organizations, the local school district, and local government agencies with charitable initiatives. Grants are ceremoniously awarded in June each year, underlining the fund's commitment to community development and welfare.
