Description
The Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program, administered by the Chesapeake Bay Trust, aims to engage diverse organizations in activities that benefit Maryland communities and raise public awareness of natural resources issues. The program supports projects that enhance communities and improve natural resources, such as tree plantings, rain gardens, and stream cleanups. Eligible applicants are nonprofits, faith-based organizations, community associations, service and civic groups, and public agencies, provided they have received three or fewer grants from the Trust in the past. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds for the fiscal year are exhausted. The maximum request amount is $5,000.
