The Deschutes Cultural Coalition offers the 2025 Cultural Grant Program, providing financial support to arts, heritage, and humanities organizations in Deschutes County, Oregon. Funded by the Oregon Cultural Trust and Deschutes County, the program prioritizes projects that increase awareness of local culture, expand access to cultural resources and programming, provide cultural education, and help organizations build capacity to fulfill their missions.

Grants range from $500 to $5,000. Competitive applications often include matching contributions in goods, services, or cash funding. Projects that demonstrate innovation, broaden audience accessibility, and strengthen operational or programmatic capacity are highly encouraged.

Eligibility is limited to Deschutes County-based nonprofit organizations designated as 501(c)(3) entities, registered with the Oregon Cultural Trust, and in operation for at least one year. Organizations that received prior grants must have submitted all required project reports. Eligible projects include performances, exhibits, expanded or innovative program services, teaching and mentoring, technology support, and capacity-building efforts. However, grants cannot be used for endowment building, debt reduction, facility construction, or private/public school projects.

Applications open on November 18, 2024, and must be submitted by January 17, 2025. Funding decisions will be announced in February 2025, with funds distributed in March 2025. Projects must be completed by the end of 2025.
