Description

The AGRI Livestock Investment Grant is designed to support the long-term development of Minnesota's livestock industry by assisting farmers and ranchers in improving and modernizing their livestock operation infrastructure and equipment. This program is part of the Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation (AGRI) Program, which aims to enhance Minnesota's agricultural and renewable energy sectors. Eligible applicants must be the principal operators of a livestock operation in Minnesota, producing or planning to produce at least $1,000 of livestock products annually. They must also be residents of Minnesota or authorized business entities and hold appropriate feedlot registrations when applicable. Applications are due by 4 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, November 14, 2024, and the maximum grant amount available per fiscal year is $25,000, with a total funding expectation of $1.125 million for FY 2025.
