2025 Southern Finger Lakes Artist Fellowship
This fellowship provides unrestricted financial support to artists living in the Southern Finger Lakes region, allowing them to focus on their creative work without project constraints.
Description
The 2025 Southern Finger Lakes (SFLX) Artist Fellowship offers an unrestricted cash award to artists residing in the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes’ service region, which includes Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga counties. This fellowship, supported by the Council’s Endowment, allows recipients to focus entirely on their artistic practice without the constraints of project requirements, empowering them to take creative risks and further develop their unique voice.
Eligibility extends to artists of any discipline who have lived in the Council’s service region or are ARTS Council Artist Members for at least two years. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not currently enrolled in a full-time degree program. Up to four fellowships will be awarded for the 2025 calendar year.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, and must be submitted online. Applicants should prepare short answers, narratives, and support materials.
