The Gelvin Foundation Grants
This grant provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in northeastern Oklahoma that focus on family and community services, healthcare, education, and cultural or arts projects, with a preference for initiatives that demonstrate significant impact and sustainability.
Description
Established in 1996, The Gelvin Foundation is dedicated to supporting a broad range of nonprofit causes primarily in northeastern Oklahoma. With over $9 million contributed to more than 230 charitable organizations, the Foundation focuses on programs that significantly benefit citizens within a thirty-mile radius of Tulsa or Eufaula. Emphasis is on Family and Community Service, Health Care, Education, and Cultural/Arts projects that demonstrate efficient use of funds, significant impact on beneficiaries, and sustainability. Eligible organizations must be registered under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or its equivalent, with a preference for those whose initiatives primarily serve the specified geographic areas. The Foundation discourages applications for general support, debt reduction, or staff compensation and generally does not consider multi-year grants.
Grant renewed every year. Annual quarterly deadlines: February 10th, May 10th, August 10th, October 10th.
