Rwanda Market Systems for Livestock Activity (MSLA)
This initiative seeks input from stakeholders to design a program that will strengthen the livestock market systems in Rwanda, ultimately benefiting farmers, businesses, and the broader agricultural community.
Description
The Rwanda Market Systems for Livestock Activity (MSLA), issued by USAID/Rwanda, is a Request for Information (RFI) to gather input for the design of a future program aimed at strengthening livestock market systems. The RFI seeks comments and information from interested parties to inform the development of the activity, which is expected to address challenges and opportunities within Rwanda's livestock sector.
This RFI is not a funding opportunity or solicitation for proposals. It does not represent a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue a formal funding notice, award a contract, or make an assistance agreement. Responses to the RFI will be used for planning purposes and do not provide any advantage in subsequent procurement processes.
The anticipated MSLA program will likely focus on enhancing market systems for livestock, with an award ceiling and floor set at $18 million. The funding instrument type and program specifics are subject to further refinement based on the input received.
Responses must be submitted via email to Eriazel Bagabo at ebagabo@usaid.gov by December 19, 2024, and should include "RFI-696-25-000001" in the subject line. Hard copy submissions or phone inquiries will not be accepted. USAID will not provide individual feedback on submissions or answer questions submitted as part of this RFI process.
This RFI is an opportunity for stakeholders to contribute insights and recommendations that could shape future USAID investments in Rwanda’s livestock sector. For further inquiries, contact Mr. Bagabo at +250 252 596 400 or via the provided email.
