The Chickasaw County Community Foundation (CCCF) supports community-focused individuals and organizations in their efforts to address local needs and promote meaningful causes within Chickasaw County. With core program areas that include arts and culture, community betterment, education and youth development, environment and animal welfare, health, and human services, the Foundation connects donors and nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life in the county. Since 2005, CCCF has awarded $1.7 million in grants and currently manages $2.7 million in total assets, including $153,350 awarded in 2023.

Grants are available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and government entities, with consideration given to other tax-exempt organizations for projects deemed charitable. Applicants are encouraged to contact the Foundation in advance to confirm eligibility if their organization is classified outside of the standard 501(c)(3) designation. Applications should focus on projects that will have a tangible and positive impact on the county’s residents.

The current grant application cycle opened on November 15, with submissions due by January 15. Award notifications will be made in March. Interested applicants should review the Grant Guidelines to ensure eligibility, then access the Foundation's online grant management system to register or log in, complete the application, and track their progress. The Foundation is overseen by a dedicated local committee that reviews grant proposals and selects recipients. Community members interested in joining the committee can submit an online interest form.
