Water Quality Improvement Projects must fall into one of the following categories for funding;

Wastewater Treatment Improvement Project
Nonpoint Source Abatement and Control Project
Aquatic Habitat Restoration Project
Pollution Prevention Project.

Eligible property owners interested in implementing water quality improvement projects, including upgrading their existing sanitary systems to low-nitrogen treatment systems, in order to improve water quality and help protect the precious lakes, harbors, and ponds, are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to fund their projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications may be submitted by any East Hampton Town Department, Incorporated Village, or by any nonprofit or commercial organization. Proposed project must show a water quality improvement in East Hampton.
