Description

A percentage of the Ann and Abe Effron Donor Advised Fund’s value will be awarded in the fall as grants to local nonprofit organizations. Funding priority will be given to organizations serving Dutchess County involved in arts, culture, and education, with special consideration for projects that make facilities and events more accessible to young people and senior citizens. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt organizations located in or serving Dutchess County, NY. Grants support program-related needs but exclude individual support, debt reduction, fundraising event underwriting, equipment unless program-related, and partisan political activities. The average grant amount is $1,500, with a maximum of $3,000.
