This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and public agencies in St. Joseph County, Indiana, to support artistic initiatives, enhance organizational capacity, and promote cultural engagement within the community.
Description
The ArtsEverywhere Grant Program from the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County supports organizations that enrich the arts landscape of St. Joseph County, Indiana. Grants are awarded competitively to projects and initiatives that elevate artistic quality, foster local talent, enhance the leadership and infrastructure of arts organizations, and inspire community pride through cultural engagement.
This program funds nonprofit organizations and public agencies with a demonstrable and substantial commitment to promoting arts and culture as part of their core mission. Applicants must be classified as 501(c)(3) nonprofits or qualifying public agencies. Eligible organizations should be based in or provide significant arts programming within St. Joseph County.
There are three funding categories:
Capacity Building – for activities that strengthen the internal operations or leadership of the organization
Program or Project Support – for artistic initiatives, performances, exhibitions, or community engagement programs
Major Venture Funding – for bold, transformative arts efforts with broad impact
Applications must be submitted through the Foundation’s online grant system, which opens six weeks prior to each grant deadline. The application deadlines are May 1 and November 1 annually. If the date falls on a weekend or holiday, submissions are due by 9:00 a.m. the next business day.
