The eBay Circular Fashion Fund, in partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), offers funding and support to U.S.-based businesses that are advancing circular fashion through technology and sustainable practices. Selected applicants may receive up to $50,000 in initial funding and will have the opportunity to pitch their circular business models to eBay’s global leadership team for an additional investment of up to $300,000 and the chance to be named eBay Circular Fashion Innovator of the Year.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must:
Be a U.S.-based business with a U.S. Business Number, operating as a charity, social enterprise, or registered company.
Have been in operation for at least six months and no more than six years.
Program Highlights:
Funding: Up to $50,000 initially, with an opportunity to secure an additional $300,000.
Mentorship: Customized mentorship from industry experts.
Networking: Access to exclusive industry connections.
Judging Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on the following:

Unique value proposition with significant competitive advantages.
Commercial viability and economic appeal of the business model.

Immediate and long-term positive effects on people and the environment.
Timeline:
Applications are open from October 16 to November 15, 2024.
Selected applicants will be notified by December 4, 2024.
Initial pitches to eBay and industry experts are scheduled for December 15, 2024.
Final presentations for additional investment opportunities will occur in March 2025.
