Military and Veterans Healing Arts Grants support arts projects serving North Carolina’s military service members, veterans, and their families. The grants fund projects that enhance healing, promote self-expression, and build community connections through the arts. Projects include exhibitions, performances, workshops, residencies, literary publications, and documentary films, with required outreach activities. Applications open on January 5, 2024. A Letter of Intent is due by March 1, 2024, and full applications are due by May 1, 2024. Grants range from $5,000 to $15,000. Priority is given to projects demonstrating strong collaboration with military bases, VA medical centers, or veterans service providers.
