Description
The NC IDEA ECOSYSTEM grants program provides funding to organizations across North Carolina that run innovative programs designed to support and strengthen the infrastructure for entrepreneurs. These grants emphasize collaboration with organizations that are embedded in local communities, addressing unique regional needs to foster economic growth and entrepreneurial development. By partnering with local organizations, NC IDEA aims to expand access to essential resources and networks that drive economic advancement throughout the state.
Since its inception in 2016, the program has expanded from an initial nine grant recipients to a network of over 80 partners statewide. Funding amounts range from $75,000 to $250,000 for multi-year periods, supporting programs that enhance local entrepreneurial ecosystems. Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply if they have initiatives aligned with NC IDEA’s mission to support entrepreneurial ambition and economic resilience in North Carolina.
