Description

The Partnering for Health Equity Grant, offered by the Cone Health Foundation (CHF), provides one-time, non-renewable grants of up to $10,000 to support organizations working to address systemic health inequities in Greensboro, North Carolina. CHF seeks to fund initiatives focused on the social and environmental drivers of health equity, including access to healthy food, education, safe and healthy housing, and economic mobility. This opportunity is intended to foster community-led solutions and capacity building for historically underserved and marginalized communities.

The program prioritizes organizations with operating budgets under $500,000, newer and smaller grassroots groups, and projects led by individuals who represent the communities they serve. Organizations must demonstrate an emphasis on racial justice, equity, and community-powered solutions. Applications must be submitted by February 7, 2025, at 5 PM ET, with grant announcements made by the end of March 2025. Funding decisions are based on alignment with CHF's focus areas, as well as the intended impact and reach of the proposed work.

Grantees are required to submit a year-end financial and progress report to document the use of funds and outcomes achieved. Requests related to capital campaigns, endowments, debt retirement, political or religious views, or projects already funded by CHF are not eligible.
