Eligible applicants must be registered nonprofit organizations or community groups in good standing with both the IRS and the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation. These organizations must either operate within Queen Anne’s County or provide direct services to its residents. To apply, organizations are required to submit a detailed project narrative, financial records, a line-item budget, and proof of local impact, along with other necessary documentation as outlined in the program’s updated policies.

The application timeline is as follows: the grant opportunity officially opened on January 10, 2025, and the application deadline is February 14, 2025. Grant awards will be announced in June 2025, with mid-year reports due by December 31, 2025, and final reports due by June 1, 2026.
