Description
The Clinton County Community Foundation (CCCF) 2025 Grant Program provides funding to support specific projects, equipment purchases, and capital improvements benefiting Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with IRS-recognized 501(c) status and governmental units or political subdivisions. Grant funds cannot be allocated for administrative or labor costs. Applications are due by December 2, 2024, and must be submitted via mail or hand-delivered to the CCCF office. Notifications of grant decisions will occur in February 2025.
Funding requests can range widely, as past awards have varied from $500 to $32,000. CCCF supports both one-time projects for 2025 and multi-year projects, with the possibility of repeat funding for organizations able to manage multiple funded projects. A complete application requires 11 printed copies of the proposal, including a cover letter, project budget, and supporting documentation. Only one copy of the IRS 501(c)3 determination letter, IRS Form 990, and Pennsylvania Bureau of Corporations and Charitable Organizations registration is needed. For equipment over $500 or capital improvement projects, applicants must submit at least two quotes or bids.
Project proposals should include a clear statement of purpose, a description of the problem or need the project addresses, and details on project costs and funding sources. Applicants are encouraged, though not required, to seek additional funding from other sources to demonstrate financial sustainability. If CCCF funding is awarded, an evaluative report is due by December 1, 2025, detailing project outcomes and expenditures. Grantees must also return any unspent funds at the end of the award year.
