This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and other eligible entities that serve the Mountain Grove area, supporting projects that enhance the community's quality of life.
Description
The Mountain Grove Area Affiliate Grantmaking Program for Spring FY25 is administered by the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. This local foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals residing in the Mountain Grove area through strategic and responsive grantmaking. The foundation is guided by a Board of Directors composed of local community members with in-depth knowledge of the area’s unique needs and priorities. A designated grant committee evaluates and makes decisions on applications based on available funding.
As a community foundation, the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation operates a flexible grantmaking program that is responsive to current and emerging community needs. This flexibility is supported by donors who contribute to unrestricted or field-of-interest funds, empowering local leaders to allocate funds where they are most needed. The foundation's mission encompasses supporting a wide variety of projects that have a meaningful impact on the community.
The grant opportunity is open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and other IRS-recognized entities such as government bodies, school districts, and churches. Eligible applicants must serve the Mountain Grove area. Agencies can request up to $2,000 in funding. The program strongly encourages applications from organizations that directly benefit the Mountain Grove community.
Applications for the Spring FY25 cycle are accepted from April 7, 2025, through May 5, 2025. The final deadline for submission is 11:45 p.m. on May 5, 2025. The application system includes a character count restriction on responses, which encompasses all letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation.
