This grant provides funding to Nevada public and charter elementary school educators and administrators to enhance STEM education through hands-on learning experiences, particularly for underrepresented students.

Description

The K-5 STEM Grant FY25 Round I aims to increase high-quality STEM education in Nevada’s elementary schools by promoting evidence-based, experiential STEM learning. It focuses on increasing the percentage of schools teaching science for three or more hours per week and improving STEM interest, awareness, and achievement, especially among underrepresented groups. Eligible applicants include educators and administrators from Nevada public or charter elementary schools. Up to $2,000 is available per individual educator (Classroom Awards), and up to $25,000 per school (Program Awards). Proposals are due by June 7, 2024.
